Metal forging is a manufacturing process in which metal is heated and placed under pressure to produce parts with a desired shape. The processes of forging are as below:

3/ The metal may be reheated and reshaped multiple times to achieve the desired shape and properties.

4/ The metal is cooled and hardened by quenching it in water or oil.
